BAM Bell Protector

BAM, always innovating and moving forward. Due to the unfortunate situation we all find ourselves in, because of COVID-19, they decided to make something that would help avoid the transmission of this virus. Granted, Saxophones have openings all along the horn, and moisture and saliva do mainly come out of the tone-holes.

They did scientific studies, and they noticed that even though a lot of moistures escapes through the tone-holes, there is a small amount that projects from the bell, especially when playing in the lower register. When the moisture does exit the bell, it shoots out like a projectile, and if you're playing in front of people, even outside, it wouldn't go over well if someone got sick at your show. Better safe than sorry, I say.
